This and many other contests have become competitions of who can push the color saturation further.

I absolutely agree. In some photographs, saturation to pushed to ridiculous limits. I NEVER vote for an over-saturated photograph. Sometimes I just don't vote for either photograph and skip the Image Duel altogether. I don't see the point of turning a photograph into something unrealistic.

Thx for your supporting opinion, I proceed just like you: skip them. I do the same with sprayed flowers. The problem is, voting reflects average taste (whatever it is) and these oversat'd pics get high marks. I have already suggested, that the value of a vote should reflect the level of the voter measured in value of pictures published. Organizers of Pixoto should find a way to calculate such a value based on the point values of each individual, probably divided by the # of all pics.
