please look at the yellow car and sunset just uploaded in the last two days. In "My Images" the colors are accurate. In "image Duel" and when viewed by clicking on them from "My Images" they change hue significantly. I was told in a previous email that you do not do anything to the images. However, this problen has been seen on different computers and is very obvious. Something is going on and this was not happening a few days ago.

Hey Javier,

We have actually confirmed this issue today. We are looking into it now.

Out of curiosity, you mention your images look different in ImageDuel... how are you seeing your images in ImageDuel? You should not be able to vote on your own image in ImageDuel. Please advise.

Thanks!

The issue should be related to color profile you save your image and the libraries used by Pixoto to create thumbs (GD or ImageMagik I guess...) which could not convert properly that profile.

From my own experience, I usually save images in sRGB which should results in having the higher probability to display the "right" colors on a screen.

Even on your own monitor you can see the image in different "colors" if you open it with several programs which manages colors profiles differently (it used to happen on my old PC where I had my Monitor Color Profiles not set correctly), like Lightroom and Photoshop for examples.

It's not so easy to solve this issue.

Justin: something you might take a look at is the compression ratio you use to display images on imageduel. They are significantly smaller, and I guess you compress them even more using JPEG 40%, which makes it lose colour.
