Can I get clarification on the new black & white rule?

These are the same image- one colour, one B&W.
I haven't been on as much lately...and I know the rule changed to allow a colour AND a black and white to be entered of the same image...but does the b&w need to be in the b&w category if there are both, or can they both be in the regular category?

If there are NOT duplicates, can one still enter b&w in the regular category?

You cannot enter both the versions of the same photograph in the same category, as far as I understand. One needs to be in regular category and one in Black and white.

Yup, my understanding also is that you can have a black and white duplicate of a colour image already posted but ONLY if it's in the Black and White category :-)

Thank you all :)

Sandra, you can have one color photo in category (like in this case Babies and Children) and if you want to submit b&w version of the same photo, b&w version must go into B&W category only.

If you only have b&w photo (and no color version) b&w photo can go into any category (well, the one that suits her best, of course) including B&W category.

The above b&w photo was recategorized to B&W category, thank you for report.
