I purchased more than 50 duels yesterday for my photo that I entered in the 'cemetery' subcategory and it just sits there never in any challenges? Can I have those duels returned to me, since the image is sitting static? I have 32 remaining duels. Thank you.

The way the voting is going lately, I would guess that 50 duels would take at least three days to happen. Your image will likely get all its duels, but slowly. The volume of duels for the past while really sucks.

Hello Sonya, can you please post link to image in question?

Are you asking about category duels or contest duels?

Boosting doesn't affect contest duels, only category duels.

I would be interested to know how many duels are voted on per week on average. lots of the time I vote on over 5 to 10 thousand duels a week, and the last two weeks I have been on a road trip shooting pics and not voting.

A friend of mine here on pixoto votes as much or more than I do and his profile has been down and he has not been able to vote either. That is about 20 thousand usual duels that did not happen in the last two weeks just between the two of us!

I would bet that it is folks like me and my friend and a few of you who regularly post here on this forum that are keeping pixoto afloat as an artistic venue for photography enthusiasts and not just for the folks who point and shoot at anything and everything thinking they may sell a pic or win some money.

Maybe the owners only care about number of users in order to sell advertising, and don't really care about the quality of images uploaded, but I am trying keep having fun here and wanting to believe that is not the case. So I am staying for now and hoping the great photographers I follow will stay also, I would miss their pics in my daily feed.
