Hi Jason

Does "nude but body painted" non-explicit) classify as body art or artistic nude?

Thanks

That's a good question. I think it really depends on the image. Paint applied correctly could be considered clothing.

I will try one under people and if you think it should be reclassified then please just do so or ask me to.

Thanks

Dear Derek, would you please post a link to your posting?

I don't think that body painting should/could be categorized as clothing. But...

I'm thinking that using Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue as a model could provide a good guideline -- if body painting is at the same level as some of their body-painting photos, then the posting could be considered as body art. If it is more revealing, then it should be an artistic nude.

Of course, all these do have personal/cultural/ethic interpretation so we will never get it perfect...

First of all, very nice and inventive photo -- were the smoke trails added afterwards, in which case consideration for digital art could be in order.

While the ultimate arbiter of these things would be Pixoto, I personally would have noted the photo as "containing nudity" (because it is clearly visible) suggesting that artistic nude would have been a more appropriate category for it.

Again, very nice photo and I'd like to commend you for you willingness to discuss your submission with the Pixoto community.

Agree nice pic, I would also agree with bluetooth that I would have placed it in artistic nudes, placing it in digital art would be o/k also if the smoke trail was added afterwards and remembering of couse to mark it with adult content
