Awarded pictures resubmitted ONCE. A thought.

Does anyone else go through what I am going through? Here it is: I post a picture, it does fairly ok and gets some award. Let's say, in my case, the 20% .
All good but sometimes I get the feeling that I could have done a better job.
However I cannot because I would lose my award by modifying it and resubmitting.
I was thinking that, maybe, there could be allowed a ONE time re-submittal without losing the award and paying, let's say 100 tokens. It just may help amateurs like me get better and bring in more votes.
Honestly, sometimes I would even give 500 tokens to just be able to resubmit a bettered picture without losing the award.

John, if it is a 20% earned award that you have won in contest, you don't do anything to photo and just resubmit it, the award stays and possibly the score will go up. Sometimes I have to resubmit an image if I think it needs a second look.
If you resubmit just like the original image when it wins, the award will stay. If you have high awards on the photo, like 5% and better, I don't think it will let you resubmit those images.
This is my opinion, Mrs Jansenka might can tell you in a better way. And I hope I'm correct in what I am saying. She will correct me if I'm wrong. It only cost 10 credits to resubmit a photo. Hope I have helped some. I don't work for Pixoto. Just trying to give you my answer the way I see it happens.

Terry, thank you but help me understand the process you described. I have a picture. It got awarded the 20%. I am not happy with it so.....what do I do? In order to make it better I have to work on the picture and I cannot resubmit the same picture in the same place if I cannot work on it. It would be a useless move that would earn me nothing. So basically what I am saying is that I cannot take a picture I posted that has an award, any award, work on it and resubmit.
If it in the 1% or 20% it cannot be done. I would have to download it, work on it and then resubmit. All awards are lost anyway. So, even my thought would not work unless the picture was embedded with some kind of a recognition code that would accept it as resubmitted. :-) Too complicated I guess. I will just have to work more on the pictures before I post them. Just that inspiration does not show up every time I want it to. :-) Thanks Terry, than you Jasenka.

John, if you take that picture you are referring to and work it to be a better image, then resubmitting it will be just like another submission, it will not be the same image. Yes you might have two images that looks almost alike, then Pixoto will( probably) delete one for you. If it don't look exactly the same, then it's just another entry. It will start from ground zero on points from whatever it is awarded. The image you are talking about that got 20% in awards, you can delete it yourself if you want to, then you will loose the 20%. And the picture. So if you work the same pic you are talking about, resubmit it, it might win a better award. I myself, sometimes resubmit the same image all over again just to see if it will get a better score. Most of the time, it will!!
I hope helped you some.
