Vast majority of images in the Abstract photography area are actually not photographs but digital creations....

YES! I complained about this also. I love abstract photography and I feel sad that legitimate efforts at the craft have to compete with nonsense. It's bad enough that so many people that vote in the abstract category really have no interest in the subject.

I would love for pixoto to be a legitimate source of feedback, and I'd love to pay for pro to help that, but at this current time some of my test shots have better scores then my labors of love... not to mention the ENDLESS cliches of bubbles, rain drops, and smoke.

Actually, why don't they split the difference and add an Abstract sub-category to photoshop art?

Is it me or abstract category is lately (especially this week) filled with photos that don't belong there (both digital art and regular photos that don't belong in abstract category)?

For instance take a look at this guys whole portfolio...

http://www.pixoto.com/adamski16

IMHO none is a photo and they should all be in digital art...

Can someone from Pixoto browse through abstract category for this week and take care of things :)

TY
