I'm confused..which frequently happens. Can you explain the voting process and the break down for image scores? I ask this because I have received 3 "Best of the Day" awards but when I look at the "dual" numbers I lost most of the times. Thanks. Jim

Hello Jim, image score can not be based just on win/loss ratio, it also depends when wins and/or losses occur.

Please see this page for more explanation: http://blog.pixoto.com/2012/09/why-wi...

Best of the day (week, month, year) awards are assigned based on position of image amongst all photos in category that were submitted that day (week, month, year).

I hope this helps.

The scoring system is one the world's phenomenon's that no one can explain, it took 3 year's to develop and test but it's one of those that should have been left on the drawing board.

I have only been here a very short time and it is already obvious to me that the time of day and time zone in which you submit you images has an impact on how well the system allows the image to do.

I am from the USA, currently in Europe. If I post during the day Europe time when everyone in the USA is sleeping my images do not do quite as well then if I wait and post at the end of the day in Europe.

Jasenka, have there been any studies by management about this isssue?
