Two of the photos have won an award today...
And he is still posting more photos in the Mobile category using a Canon PowerShot or DSLR-A390.
This is so unfair.

It's getting better and better...
this person submitted a photo via Instagram for this weeks challenge.

http://www.pixoto.com/images-photogra...

Problem: the photo is old AND it was submitted already a few days ago (he used his second account).

http://www.pixoto.com/images-photogra...

just cropped and mirrored. AND it was NOT shot with a mobile phone (see my complain above).

According to the rules
1. Photos must be shot with your MOBILE PHONE and uploaded using the Instagram connection
2. Photos must be shot DURING THIS WEEK (no posting of older photos)

This person is cheating all the time and nothing happens.

the user deletes the exif information of his pictures submitted on mobile photo category to make it appear those pictures are taken from a mobile phone camera

I've reported a lot of DSLR photos in mobile photo category too, I have doubts, Im not sure if Im right, some of the instagram photos are DSLR qualities. Unfortunately, yes, instagram deletes exif information, so I will never know if pictures submitted to instagram category are really from camera phones.

I'm sorry I dont have much knowledge of this instagram thing because i dont use it but I tried researching and found out that DSLR photos can be edited in instagram. So I think this is a clear disadvantage to mobile phone photography purists.

DSLR users already have their own playing field, IN FACT 15 categories. In the previous weekly challenge, one rule clearly states that "Photos must be shot with your MOBILE PHONE and uploaded using the Instagram connection"

Im not sure how would pixoto makes sure that photos edited in instagram are really taken from a mobile phone camera.

May I suggest too, that a separate rules for mobile photos be made. There are no specific rules for this category and I think mobile phone photography has a world of its own.
