The project I was trying to submit (in order to have a title page ) it's called "I Didn't Do It (II) (2015).
The page  I was added to  as a Self credit is a documentary with the same name in the same year "I Didn't Do It" (2015)

Sylvia: To answer your question in general terms, "self" credits will be found in the Cast list for purposes of editing the credits of a project. From IMDb's perspective, self credits are considered a specialized type of actor or actress credits that get broken out separately for display purposes (but not for editing purposes).

I take it that you are Sylvia Sakellaridis, because that is the only person named Sylvia listed in the cast of I Didn't Do It (2015).

Also, I don't see that your film got a separate page of its own -- it looks like it may have been combined with the other I Didn't Do It. That page seems to have a plot outline that doesn't match its plot description. Did your cast and crew also get added to the other film's page?

If the two films are combined onto one page, we will need to have an IMDb staffer sort them out into separate entries. Please post here to say if that is the situation, but if it is, don't try to add, delete or change any credits until after you hear from the IMDb staff (they usually post here on weekdays during business hours).

Thanks for the answer
My name is Sylvia Sakellaridis
I submitted for a Title Page for a project I worked as an actress, trying to create a page for the  short movie (with the support of all the people of the project), with all the details informations about everyone under the title of "I Didn't Do It" (II) (2015)
Instead I am now credited as a Self in another project a documentary by the same title "I Didn't Do It" (2015) in the same year.
So to answer you , yes I was the only one credited in the wrong film.
I think that happened because on my first submission I didn't add the specific (II) on the title page, but corrected after... so maybe that s why???

Sylvia: I don't think there is anything else you need to do right now. Mostly you just have to wait until the IMDb staff comes back to work on Monday, when they will be able to see that http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3920658/ represents two different films that have been combined on one page. I expect they will deal with the problem then.

Hi Sylvia -

I was able to review your submission history, and I don't see that any new title was submitted, but rather, these credits/data were submitted by accident  to the wrong title page (I am looking at the 150605-204216-719000 submission).

I'm not certain if our staff can internally perform a title split if there was no new title submitted, so I will reach out to them to confirm the best next course of action and will update you with the next instructions here.

Thanks Michelle
yes there are 2 submission
150605-204216-719000 this is submission of the new  title page I was able to create in which all the new credits were combine with the existing same title ( so now the page is mixed with credits and story of the 2 together)
-150605-204658-218000 correction of the title from I DIDN'T DO IT (2015) to I DIDN'T DO IT (II) (2015)
I attached the picture here as a reference of my recent history, in the next message

Sylvia, you should not do anything at this time, until Michelle gets back to you, but I think you might like to understand what happened.

IMDb is a Title based database, which means that the Title must be added to the system before any credits are added. The New Titles form allows you to submit credits at the same time as you submit the new title (and in fact insists on it so the Managers can authenticate the Title) but internally these items are held aside until the Title page has been created and only then submitted to the appropriate queues for processing.

Looking a the screencap of your initial submission you did not attempt to add a New Title; instead you added the various credits to the current Title already on file. This is obvious for two reasons: 1) the first line of the summary would have read New Title - I Didn't Do It (2915/II) and 2) the title would not be clickable since it would not have existed when the History item was created.

As to your second submission: all submissions are changes to what is on the database, not to submissions. Therefore this would have attempted to change the title of the current Title page and would not have affected your previous submission at all.

By the way, the format of the title change you attempted to submit is incorrect. Although Titles are shown this wan on the displayed Title page, the internal format (which is what the submission form requires) would be I Didn't Do It (2015/II), merging the Roman numeral with the year.

If you want to check things out more, I would recommend you read some of the pages linked from the Contributor Zone.

Hi Sylvia -

Our staff have manually removed the incorrect data from the existing "I Didn't Do It (2015)" title page.  So currently, you will need to submit a new title submission for your title: "I Didn't Do It" (2015/II)

The details of the format of titles, the eligibility rules and the option to actually create the new title are included in our guide here: http://www.imdb.com/updates/newtitle

Hello Michelle,
I'm trying to submit a new title submission for the title "I Didn't Do It" (2015/II) , but it seems that I cannot pass the first check-updates to go further.
I've tried As u suggest me
-"I Didn't Do It" (2015/II)
- and also with "I Didn't Do It" and add the specific (2015/II) afterwords
It might be that this specific title has "restrictions" now?
Thanks a lot
(attached the specifics)

The problem is shown in the form : just above the beige warnings is the red error :
This title has been rejected. You need to correct this title before it will be accepted.
* o  Sub-type
You need to specify either Short subject or Feature length by checking the correct radio button.

I have never seen a case where the reason for a rejection or warning is not listed in the form usually at the bottom of the red or beige section.

If you read the whole form carefully you will almost certainly find the reason for the problem.

P.S. I will admit that this particular error usually causes a double take from me when I see it.

Sylvia: I am sorry to have to disagree with DavidAH_Ca here, but I think the problem is different from that.

In the Title field shown above, you have the title listed as:
"I Didn't Do It" (2015/II)

Instead, you should list the plain title in that box, with no quotation marks, year in parentheses or roman numeral:
I Didn't Do It

The quotation marks, year in parentheses, and roman numeral are causing the "Questionable title" warning which is shown above.

Similarly, you should list the year as 2015 rather than 2015/II.

If you do that, and also select either "feature length" or "short subject", you should receive a warning that says:

We already have the following title which exactly matches 'I Didn't Do It (2015)' :-

  1. I Didn't Do It (2015)

We also already have titles which are similar to 'I Didn't Do It (2015)', are you sure it's not one of these? :-

... followed by a list of titles.

You should check the box at the end of the list labeled "This is not an existing title, continue with 'I Didn't Do It (2015/II)'."

Then click "Re-check these updates". You will then be taken to the screen where you can enter the rest of the data for your film (release date, miscellaneous links, cast, crew, and all the rest).

Good luck!
