Wrong 'Known For' Section

Matt Bomer is wrongly credited in his 'Known For' section with the TV Show Guiding Light (1952) instead of the Guiding Light (2002 - 2003)

Being born in 1977, Mat Bomer was not even conceived during the time of this show, and from what I know, this would have been a mistake.

How should I proceed in-order to see this error is rectified?

Noel: This isn't really a mistake, just an aspect of IMDb formatting. The television series that Matt Bomer worked on was "Guiding Light" which debuted in 1952 under the title "The Guiding Light" and continued to run until 2009 (and dropped "The" from the title in 1975). Hence, the official title of the series on IMDb is "The Guiding Light" (1952). The fact that he was only on the show from 2002 to 2003 is already indicated in his filmography itself.

By the same token, Kenan Thompson, born in 1978, is known for "Saturday Night Live" (1975), and David Gregory (VII), born in 1970, is known for "Meet the Press" (1947) and "Today" (1952).

Years ago, this was actually a more obvious problem. Instead of being listed in Matt Bomer's filmography in chronological order in the 2000s, "The Guiding Light" would have been listed in his filmography as the oldest item with a 1952 date instead of the 2002-2003 date that appears in his filmography now.

I once received an e-mail from a movie theater chain promoting one of Josh Duhamel's films where the writer had obviously been misinterpreting his IMDb filmography -- it said, "Back in 1970, he was on 'All My Children' ...", but the writer had not taken into account that Duhamel was born in 1972. "All My Children" was then listed in his IMDb filmography under 1970 at the time because that was the series' debut year. People would be less likely to make that mistake nowadays.

Oh, that solves it. I admit I was a little excited to find out one mistake.
