Words that need adding to IMDb database so we quit being asked to tick a box to confirm spelling

I'd like for IMDb to update their database and quit asking us to spell check such words as:
  • Storyline: this word is already a header at any IMDb show/film page, yet when I use the word to submit trivia (etc.), I'm always blocked, until I tick a box to bypass IMDb spellcheck. No, it isn't "story-line" nor "story line", it is, indeed, "storyline".
  • Fi: not a word per se, but it's every time I type "sci-fi", again I'm blocked and asked to correct my word "fi". I already have the hyphen there, perhaps is there a way for the system to read the entire hyphenated word, instead of assuming "fi" is a complete one?
Kindly please add "sci-fi" to stop the verification madness here.
  • Intel: (edited to add this word). This noun is in the dictionary as "information of military or political value".
The frustrating thing is these aren't foreign-accepted words. They're valid, both English and industry lingo used by IMDb in the first place. There's much more vocabulary that needs adding but this is all I've encountered recently. Feel free to add yours below so the mods can effectuate the needed add-ons.

Here's IMDb's block and warning:
This item has warnings, and you have acknowledged all the warnings.
  • There are some spelling mistakes. Please choose the correct spelling from the menu(s) below and press "Re-check these updates" to have the mistake(s) automatically updated. If you are certain all your spellings are correct, you should click the checkbox to acknowledge this warning instead
Adding those normal English words/industry lingo to the database will help us avoid the "double-checking" frustration. Because we contributors need to tick a box and hit submit, which again brings a new page that needs resubmitting, it takes a lot of time to get through a single submission when this happens; particularly when those who add high volume contributions have to deal with our internet already being slow to begin with or acting up, and it's enough to make a well-intentioned contributor give up.

If I remember other blocked words, I'll add more below. Again: feel free to do the same, if you've encountered your own valid vocabulary frustrations.

Fixing this will help everyone. Thank you, IMDb staff.

Hi Appraiser1,

Thank you for letting us know. We have raised this with the appropriate team to investigate further, and will respond here once we have an update.

Many thanks again.

May I add, for your consideration, the word chatoyant to add on to the list, please?

(Also a bit frustrating to be asked to tick a box, when that word had already been used & approved in previously published entry, to which I was adding the [formerly known as] qv link.) Thanks!

Would you kindly please add "noir"? I was typing "film noir" and "noir" got the block.

ETA: Also please add "carb", if you see fit? It's a bit stuffy to read "high-carbohydrate (meal)" but "high-carb" is "more better". ;-)

ETA: "Parter". I wrote "two-parter" and it blocked the 2nd half.

Thank you!

Wow. "Storyline" has still not been added. (I realize it says "in progress", just surprised.)

I'd like to add to the pile "friendly". It gets blocked on account of "friend": I get this: "The word "friend" implies you are entering time sensitive trivia about this person. Such information is no longer accepted."

If perhaps the system is able to recognize "friendly" as separate from "friend", that would be nice. It's frustrating to submit valid trivia referencing "family-friendly" and be blocked right off the bat. Thank you.

Please also add "lycra" (yes, it came up) and "pre".

Explanation, if needed: system blocks words such as "pre-recorded". Granted, this has 2 spellings, so I resubmitted (re-submitted? LOL!) it as "prerecorded", but oftentimes, words like that are usually declined and need to be re-sub'd with a (an?) hyphen. (Like rewatch / re-watch, but that one doesn't come up for me on IMDb.)  Thanks!

Some 3 months later, and I still need to tick a box to clear "Storyline" past the system.
(It's not like we is asking fo' da moon! I'll settle for the stars...)

ETA: Also please add "versa". Whether I spell it "vice-versa" or "vice versa", the system blocks that one too! Thanks! :)

Going on 4 months and still no change! Have IMDb staff forgotten about this? Is this entry no longer read by them?

Please add "discarnate" (as in voice). Thank you.

Still IN PROGRESS.
I have seen these things take a very long time to fix and get a reply back.
Years even!

Thanks, Ed! Haven't been here in a while. Storyline still not added.
Mods: please kindly add "reprised" (verb, past tense for reprise) to the long list of pending vocab. to add. Thanks!
