Without A Box Vimeo Screeners

Hello,

I recently discovered that my Vimeo screener on Without A Box had playback issues. The problem was on Vimeo's end and their tech support fixed it, so now my video plays correctly. However, I had already submitted to a festival before I noticed the playback problem. The Help Desk at WAB assured me that since Vimeo screeners are live, and I did not change the link associated with the screener, that the festival will now automatically see the updated/corrected version rather than the version that was attached at the time of my submission.

This seems to contradict what is stated on their FAQ and also what I found here in another post: "Once the Secure Online Screener is submitted to a festival, you will not be able to delete that copy or replace the copy associated to the submission."

So which is it? Can anybody clarify?

Hi Joseph,

The FAQ you've referenced is for screeners uploaded via IMDb. Vimeo screeners are different, as only one link can be associated with your project at a given time. Changes to Vimeo links will appear on all previous submissions using Vimeo as the screener option.
