Why won't IMDB put the correct credit for an actor? Listing a credited actor as "uncredited" is detrimental to the actor's career. The credit is right there on the screen and the callsheets prove the actor was a principle featured player and not an extra. Very frustrating. Many attempts have been made to have IMDB correct this to no avail.

No one can really answer without knowing specifics.  It'd only be guesswork.

If you can post your submission ID number, staff should be to check on status. When a credit is not approved, adding evidence would be the next step.  If you can upload a screen capture of the credit appearing on screen here, staff can forward that to be attached to your submission.  Call sheets might be good evidence of "uncredited" work, but the best for "credited" would be, of course, the actual credit appearing on screen.

If you like, in the mean time, you can post the contents of the emailed receipt from your submission and experienced contributors might be able to make suggestions to help get it accepted.

You didn't mention the time frame these attempts were made in but it can take between 2 days and 2 weeks for an accepted submission to be processed fully.  If you re-submit while it is processing, it can slow the process greatly.

I have a screen capture and the callsheets. Here is the screenshot of the credit (the other actors she worked with are all correctly credited).  It has been months now of submitting to no avail. Here is the ref#140518-045117-689000. Have a look at "Younger Sister" played by Sophie Nyweide.

I think you forgot to upload your evidence.  None has appeared. You can upload images of your screen capture and documents here by using the camera icon (be sure to do the last step, pressing "ok") or upload them to a pic hosting site or put it in a "dropbox" folder and give staff the link on this form http://www.imdb.com/helpdesk/data_verification

The photo of the credits has appeared now. I also have call sheets for the time she worked on the film. Thank you for helping with this matter.

You're welcome.  One thing I notice, the cast is numbered, 1-30, and hers is not the only one listed as "uncredited" (for starters, Ezra Barnes, right after her name in the credits), so maybe re-ordering the cast (in edit mode, to the far right of the screen is a field for numbering cast) and including hers with the correct cast order number, might help.

Thank you. Have provided picture of credits and changed the number on the NOAH page. She should be listed between 20-23. Hope this works. It looks horrible to have that "uncredited" on her page.

Yeah, there were many "uncredited" and seeing them in the credits made me wonder if all those without numbers got given the "uncredited" until the screen credits could be verified.  But what you've provided should clear it up.

You're very welcome!
