So....do you really mean a resume? If you have a resume attached to a Name Page that you've uploaded via IMDbPro, the site usually does not make changes to it.

If you don't mean that, but there is an IMDb Name Page in your name and credits have been changed or removed, that could make more sense.

I am not sure how anyone could figure it out without seeing the pages or knowing what the credits were and where they've gone without you giving more particular information.

Otherwise it's all guesswork...

Were you credited on screen? If not and you did not indicate so by adding "uncredited" to the entries, it would be removed. Also, if that's all you had, uncredited work, listed and no credited entries, they might have been added and then suppressed until you have credited work listed (the site does not allow only uncredited work...credited work needs to be listed before uncredited work can be displayed).

Those are my guesses...but I couldn't tell you if these apply.

Can you post a link to your Name Page (or at least offer your name as it appears in IMDb)? Can you describe the credits that were removed? Titles, type of credit, any attributes, etc. Can you provide screen captures of your name appearing on screen for those titles?

I have been a Sag member since 1972 and all the credits of my past TV/film work was removed. Shows such as Kojak ( featured pilot 2 Episodes) All in the Family ( Guest star) Moonlighting ( Co star 2 Episodes) and this list goes on.. All these credits appeared for years up until recently when I check.  I don't have any explanation other then someone hacked into imy account and deleted all my credits. The only two shows that remain are King's Ransom, and Thunder in Paradise.   Link ti IMDB  http://www.imdb.com/find?q=Fred%20Ottaviano&s=tt&ttype=ep&ref_=fn_ep   My question is who can correct this at IMBD? Is there a person I can contact at IMBD?  Thank you.

Your credits are all there on http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0653082/  (see grab of the top part of your page below).

Please can you upload a screen-grab if you are seeing something different.

That's not possible but I do have residual stubs from  over the years  and recently. As you know they don't give  residual payments for Extras or uncredited work. And besides my credits in the shows I've mentioned always had shown featured player or co star. Example in the TV show " Moon lighting with Bruce Willis I played a prison guard for two episodes and if you look at my credits for that episode is shows me playing the role of a balding inmate... ?? This is an example how things have changed on my IMBD account. Hows that? And how can I change that also??  Your help is gratefully appreciated.

I was able to find credits for all those you listed, so I guess it is 'possible' after all.

I submitted to change the character description for the Moonlighting episodes (went to the episodes, clicked "edit page" and choose to "correct" cast, then changed the wording and submitted it).

For "All in the Family," three cast are credited on screen. They are:

So, that one was correctly changed to "uncredited" and should remain that way.

For "Kojack," "May the horse.." episode, the cast credited are:

Your name does not appear so it'll also have to remain as "(uncredited)."

For the other episode of "Kojak," the credits are lengthy but can be seen at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gD3oifn1HnQ

Your name is not listed and that should also remain as "(uncredited)."

The credits for "Starsky and Hutch" can be seen at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUEp7Kr563I

Your name is not listed and that should also remain as "(uncredited)."

Your character description for Moonlighting has updated as I typed the info above.

As to how these changes could have been made, it's not uncommon for people who like to add or correct listings to view a film or show and correct listings that they see are wrong. So, in the case of "(uncredited)" being added to titles in your filmography, people have corrected errors.

As to how could someone have changed info and did someone "hack into your account," the page we're talking about, with your name and credits on it is not an "account" that you own. No one has "hacked into" your account. It's a part of the database of film/tv information. It can, and did, be corrected by, as I described above, clicking the "edit page" button on the page and filling in the form requesting they add or correct entries.

I much appreciate your investigation into this matter however I know there is a featured credit that would be viable for the Show All in the family as I  received character credit in the TV guide. I worked under the stage name of  Fred Rolaf at that time and earlier for the movie Superfly in 1972 so this might be the reason it is not showing up. Many thanks.

IMDb does not process credits based on what's in TV Guide. IMDb documents on screen credits for film/tv. Being in TV Guide does not necessarily indicate that on screen credit existed.

Do you mean for that same episode? Or is it another one that has not been listed on your page? Neither name appears in the credits for the episode on your page. If it's another episode, do you know which? If so, you can/should be added to the cast by adding "Ottaviano, Fred," then adding the 'attribute' of "(as Fred Rolaf)."

I submitted to merge the Rolaf and Ottaviano pages into one.

I posted the on screen cast credits above. Aside from the regular cast credited at the beginning, only the three people shown above in the screen capture were credited on screen.

it's available on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1r9RYDbJZo

You're very welcome! If you think of more that needs to be added, just post again!

I think those are actually recorded on IMDb, but because you were using a different name they are on a Name page for Fred Rolaf. If these credits are yours, then that page should be merged with the Fred Ottaviano page.
.
To do this, you would go to the Fred Rolaf page, and click the Edit page button near the bottom.

Select Add correction from the dropdown menu beside Name Correction or Merge (the first option on the page)
Click Continue (at the bottom of the page)

Enter the name from the other page in the internal Surname, Givenname format i.e. Ottaviano, Fred
Leave the box beside Preserve previous name on existing credits. i.e. '(as Fred Rolaf)' checked. This is needed to record how you were actually listed.
Enter the explanation. Something along the lines of :
I am Fred Ottaviano and have an IMDb page under that name, I performed under this name for these jobs, so I am merging this page with my main one.
Click Check these updates

You will now see a warning that asks: Are you sure you want to merge this person with Ottaviano, Fred?  Since this is exactly what you want to do, check the box beside Warning understood, go ahead anyway.
Click Re-check these updates.

The background of the form should now be green, and you can Submit these updates.

This type of update usually takes a few days, and credits may disappear for a while during the move. Allow at least a week for things to settle down before getting anxious.
