Why isn't anybody accepting this Trivia submission I made?

I've submitted these two facts multiple different times, but THEY WON'T GO THROUGH. I even used the private message system, but unfortunately, they told me to use the "Track contribution" feature and they refuse to approve my facts. Why can't they do it? They keep giving me the wrongest answers and I've waited long enough. 200120-201451-991000

As of this posting (1/24/2020), the oldest Trivia item is from January 15th. So your update has not been reviewed by an IMDb representative due to a backlog of almost 1000 unprocessed items.

I said I submitted both of these facts but nobody in the IMDb staff cares. I learned them from a behind the scenes documentary.

Hi there, please keep in mind that while what you're submitting may be factual, it still needs to adhere to our formatting guidelines in order to reflect on the site. Please also keep in mind to submit evidence with your submissions to assist with processing.

Post the full text of the trivia items. Maybe we can see what is holding up approval.
Provide the proof used also.
Or provide a screen shot of the declined submissions from this...
https://contribute.imdb.com/contributions/history
It will have the full text of your submission, so we can read what you submitted.
Thanks

Here are the trivia items I wrote for "The Swan Princess" (https://imdb.com/title/tt0111333/):

"An early villain song for Rothbart was sung by Jack Palance, but it felt too evil and dark for the writers' liking and that the villain's song needs to be lifted and toned down. As a result, composer [name=nm0207185] and lyricist [name=nm0957138] came up with the lighter and more upbeat song "No More, Mr. Nice Guy", which would be sung by Azevedo himself. (The producers have searched for the right performer to provide Rothbart's singing voice, but after a difficult time, they decided to have Azevedo perform.)"

"The scene with Bromley practice-shooting an arrow and Derek catching it to shoot the apple on his head originally had Bromley wear no suit of armor. As a response to a breaking news story surrounding a disaster associated with the movie [link=tt0107889], in which a teen copied that film's stunt and was killed, the animators changed the original footage of the scene to have Bromley wear a full suit of armor, so that no one would copy the arrow trick unless they also wear a full suit of armor."

Needs shortening. It is too long. Don't quote me on this, but IMDb prefers 50 words on trivia. I believe I read that on a reply by a staff member somewhere..

2. Style & Grammar

  • Do write only in English.
  • Do keep your submissions short and easy to read.
  • Do write all submissions in the present tense.
  • Do not use ALL CAPS.
  • Do not use chat-speak or text-speak.
Shortened:

A song for the character of Rothbart sung by Jack Palance, needed toning down as it was determined "too dark." Composer [name=nm0207185] and lyricist [name=nm0957138] developed a lighter and more upbeat song replacement. Palances and other dubbing voices were not right, so it was actually dubbed by Azevedo himself.

49 Words...If I counted correctly.

Apply this to the second trivia and resubmit both.

I can't abbreviate that one. I learned this fact from a behind-the-scenes documentary.

Yeah Right! Please!
46 words.
This technique is called EDITING.
Shorten your submissions.

A scene has Bromley shooting an arrow at Dereks head and catching it before it hits the apple. When a news story in which a teen was killed copying another film's stunt, the scene was changed. A full suit of armor was inserted. No one could copy that.

Ed, I'm not saying filmfanatic10 is an angel. I am saying that pretty often, you post unnecessary harsh and very curt responses.

Keep on spamming my inbox with this same message by posting and removing it nearly 45 times. See where it says 55 deleted messages?
I shall just ignore it and post periodical updates here.
Thanks.
A note: You are not annoying me. But what about Marco? And GMJ? And the 2 others following this thread? Will you continue to mistreat them in this manner?
