That is computer generated, and is unalterable.
The credit totals are not based on titles alone.
Episodes are counted in your overall totals.
So if and when your overall totals exceed what is currently your highest total from this dominant category it will automatically switch to that category. Also note that Movies and TV shows in pre-production stages do not count in your totals.

Without knowing your name it is much tougher to explain.
Here is an example so maybe you'll understand better.
We all think of Ron Howard as a Director.
Almost no one really thinks twice about identifying him in any other way. He really has not acted for decades. But because he did act, and it was on an episodic level, he has so many totaled credits on The Andy Griffith Show and Happy Days, that he will never be listed on IMDb as a Director First, then as an actor.

Hope that clarifies it for you.

Now that really stinks, and not to be annoying but the site code is written by humans so I don't know why they wouldn't make this correct, since they can change anything they want,  especially if requested by the actual person. It's like saying a US President should say peanut farmer or lawyer next to their name because they did that longer than being President- geez IMDB I was there when you first opened and everyone was putting all this crap info on other peoples' profiles that still can't be corrected. Thank you Ed for reply but no thanks at all to IMDB for their absolutely amateurish operation from day one.

Hi sd,

As Ed Jones has stated, the profession summary is automatically generated based on the filmography credits. The profession summary is ordered based on the number of credits you have listed for each profession.

Yes it is automatically generated but why can it not be changed so it can be correct?  So if someone was a production assistant on 40 films then directed 10 features and won 3 Oscars they are still categorized by IMDb as a P.A., is that really how IMDb wants to be seen by working professionals in the industry? Or is IMDb still just a fan run site with so much junk and inaccuracies that it should not ever be treated as a reliable or accurate industry resource like Variety or The Hollywood Reporter?
