Why are Indian films still being allowed into iMDB Top 250 and not their own section?

This was a problem a year ago and it is still a problem now, for some reason the Indian audience disproportionately rate their films 10/10 without any rhyme or reason and this is severely hurting the legitimacy of iMDB Top 250.

We're even seeing this 'mob' like behaviour with the absolute destruction of TikTok on the Google Play Store because of something that was said about a Bollywood star.

Is the only reason you refuse to address this issue because you also fear the mob? It's ridiculous and needs to be resolved as objectively far better films are being knocked off the Top 250.

We shouldn't have to filter the Top 250 because of mass blind voting, that's just masking the problem without actually fixing it.

Very important and world renowned films are dropping off the Top 250 completely because of objectively average films taking their place.

It's not a "best films" list. It's a "top rated by our demographic" list. And the demographic is shifting.

It's more about the fact the rating system is being abused, we have loads of great foreign films, however, it is clear to anyone with half a brain that '3 Idiots' receiving 121,000 votes for 10/10 (37% of total rating) isn't RIGHT.

All the films I've listed above have a 30-40% 10/10 rating where the Top 1000 voters have rated all of them below average (according to how imdb's ratings work).

What makes you think all those votes are coming from India? I'm a lifelong Midwesterner with no ties at all to that country. In the last few years I've watched dozens of Bollywood films on Netflix and rated some of them highly. There must be many other non-Indians around the world doing the same. As long as the IMDB list includes productions from ANY other country, there's no legitimacy in excluding one of them.

I'm going to take an educated guess that the average English speaking westerner does not watch and rate Bollywood films 10/10.... Arguing on the contrary is rather stupid.

To dismiss the issue is to plead ignorance.
