Who deleted my list and why?

I've created four extensive lists, and now one of them is missing -- "Most misguided attempts at widening your appeal."  I definitely didn't delete it.  And I don't see what could be objectionable about it -- it was originally created for a poll that IMDB ran.  I can't recreate it easily, and there's no sense in trying if some anonymous IMDB staffer is just going to delete it again without notice.  Can somebody in a position of authority explain to me why this happened?  Is there any hope of restoring it?

Have you tried searching for it using google:
key words in the title    site:imdb.com/list

I'm thinking maybe it's attached to a different user id?

Thanks for getting back to me.  I tried that, and couldn't find it.  I HOPE that it's something as innocuous as a missing pointer, but how can you get someone at IMDB to investigate this?

Hi Jeff,

It looks like this list was adjusted to Private in February. May I ask if you are able to see the list here?

https://www.imdb.com/user/ur0109692/lists

You should be able to click the ellipsis, then Edit to adjust this. Let us know if you are unable to see the list and make this adjustment.

Thanks, but that only brings up a 404 error ... I've tried it on two different browsers.  It got hits consistently (it had well over a thousand) and there were a few new ones when I checked a week ago.

Hi Jeff (AKA Art Snob),

When I click on the link that Steve (Official Rep) provided, I also get a 404 (page not found) error. However, when I paste the URL of the link into another window of my browser, I get this working link (URL):
https://www.imdb.com/user/ur0109692/lists
This is your poll:
Most bogus "widening your appeal" roles
https://www.imdb.com/poll/K3-JOxn65nk/

The corresponding list is not showing up in the list of your three public lists.

When I look at the link for the corresponding list (https://www.imdb.com/list/ls072939693/), I get this message:
This list is not public
The creator of this list has not enabled public viewing

Thank you very much for your investigative work, but it's always been public and I know that I haven't changed it.  It's not available for PRIVATE viewing either ... which means that I can't make it public again.  Can anyone make an administrative change and get it back to where everyone can see it?

Jeff,

I'm happy to see that your (https://www.imdb.com/list/ls072939693/) list is back. It is still showing a message that the list is private.

By the way, IMDb staff monitor Get Satisfaction. IMDb Champions help out where we can.

Hi Jeff,

The list is now set to Public and live:

https://www.imdb.com/list/ls072939693/

Please let us know if it comes down again so we can investigate further while it is in this state.
