Where did the links go?

Hello IMDb team,
I wanted to report a bad link from a news item (ni62945752) but when I click on the "Report this" link I am taken to a fairly new page that doesn't seem to offer a way to report things any more

https://help.imdb.com/contact?news_item=ni62945752&ref_=nws_art_rpt

I've tried all of the options but none of them seem to lead to a way to actually contact you

Life used to be much simpler  :)

All the best

I followed the link from news item ni62945752 and it just took me to the CinemaRetro index / archive page at https://cinemaretro.com/index.php?/archives/10941-REVIEW-THE-WILD-HEART-GONE-TO-EARTH-1950&-Dire...

It should have taken me to the actual article at
https://cinemaretro.com/index.php?/archives/10941-REVIEW-THE-WILD-HEART-GONE-TO-EARTH-1950;-Directed...

There's a subtle difference with the ampersand or the semi-colon after the name Pressburger

Try this:

Yes, we used to have links that would take us directly to the end point of this (and with the item's reference number already filled in so you didn't need to copy and paste it), but that was lost when the help site was redesigned a few years ago. Now we always have to go through all the steps.

That's great, many thanks Phil,
I did most of the combinations, but obviously not that one.

I think I was fooled by the "haven't submitted an update" because I've submitted many of them  :)

It all seems good now thanks, I've submitted the problem via their email.

All the best.

How do you mark a query as solved?

You can actually do it as a champion by choosing the gear on the page and going to the management of the page and then marking it as answered but someone has done that for you.

I guess I could have been a little clear. As a Champion, you should see a gear beside the title of this thread, like:

When you click that, it brings you to this page:

You can see at the top that is showing "Answered" beside "Question". Usually, this would read "No Status" but you can change it to answered.

Just an FYI, in case you didn't know you could do this.

Thanks, it was me who set it to Answered. That’s the best I could find although othe queries are marked as Solved. Which is what I really wanted.
