When using Advanced Search, there should be a way to limit results to live action films.

Right now, there is no way to limit search results to live action films (let alone films that are predominately live action but include an animated sequence such as Kill Bill, CreepShow, etc). It amazes me that this isn't an option. It's probably the easiest factor to use to narrow down a search. You may not be sure exactly what year a movie was released in, or if it might have been a tv show and not a film, but chances are you will remember if it was live action or animated.

It would be incredibly easy to implement too.

Here are the results for 90's comedies. 129,000 titles.

Below is the same search except the results limited to animation. If there were a way to remove animated films from the results, that's over 17,000 results that could be eliminated from the above search.

Actually, there is a way.
Just edit the URL to put the symbol for NOT, namely "!", before the genre animation.
Start by selecting both genres:
https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?release_date=1990-01-01,1999-12-31&genres=animation,comedy
then edit to insert the exclamation point
https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?release_date=1990-01-01,1999-12-31&genres=!animation,comedy
and you get

Released between 1990-01-01 and 1999-12-31, Comedy, Not Animation (Sorted by Popularity Ascending)
1-50 of 111,702 titles.
