Post the name of the latest movie you've seen and your rating out of 10.
Sunshine Boys (t0073766) - 7/10 - loved Burns, hated Matthau.
The Wolf Man (1941) - 7/10. Oldest horror movie I've seen to date. A little bit disappointed- I really liked some of the quotes from this movie that I came across while making a poll one time which is what lead me to watch it. However, the way they delivered the lines completely detracted from the powerful or memorable moment it could've been (i.e. either mumbling or speeding through the part that should've been emphasized). They should've also had a real love story, instead of that weird borderline emotional affair thing that was going on.
A Star Is Born (2018), 8/10. 30 or so minutes TOO LONG. One hour in? Starting to feel somewhat tedious at parts.
Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper are contenders for the lead acting Oscars.
First Man (2018), 9/10.
Ryan Gosling and Claire Foy are pretty much LOCKED into getting nominated for their respective acting categories.
Saw Venom . 7.5 it starts out as a horror picture as it should since “Venom” is basically a monster who starts out as an evil monster eating humans as food. But it switches to a comicbook hero film very late in the show. I was surprised to see that the directer’s name was Ruben Fleischer. I wondered if he was related to veteran director Richard Fleischer.
Oh, there are two in the credits scenes in the movie which the second one was a three to four minute long preview clip of “Spider-Man, Into The Spider Universe” which was awesome.
