What ratings votes count towards Top 1000

I'm just curious having looked at all the stuff with votes, and I'm curious about what ratings votes count towards being in the 1k club. Do just movie ratings, or do series and episodes ratings count as well. I've read but don't think I see the answer. (The reason I'm curious is because I rarely ever vote on episodes. I pretty much only vote movies and series titles.)

so should I read that to me it does or does not include titles other than movies? I'd think yes, but I've been wrong twice before although one of those times was regarding my having been wrong.

"Titles" extends beyond films, encompassing episodes and series.

In other words, rate a half of this:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086793
and then the whole IMDb ranking system is under your feet ;)))))

And btw, there is a large kind of audience who wants and knows nothing more than the above mentioned series. OK, their knowledge of cinematography is so wide to expertise on what can or can not be included in Top 250 ;))))

Nowhere does it say that the top 1000 voters have any particularinfluence on the Top 250.

Seriously: Only votes on theatrical features have the meaning. It's a well known rule.

I'm pretty sure all titles do count (movies, shorts, series, episodes, etc), and I became a top 1000 rater when my ratings total hit about 9,500 about four months ago -give or take a month until I noticed.
I've confirmed it by voting and changing my vote on some titles where there were no other top 1000 voters and what my rating was became the new top 1000 rating with a single vote. Whether only ratings count I do not know. I've voted for most of the top 250. I did notice that after I hit a high percentage of the top 250 that I got into the club.
What being a top 1000 gets me, I don't know; maybe hepatitis.

From what I can tell, I think the top 1000 are used to id ballot stuffing. I've seen too many titles where the 1k average is below the weighted average by 2-3 points so I don't think they can be being weighted higher.
The other possibility is that at one time they were used to a greater degree, but then that changed and momentum just keeps them around which I saw all too much when I did data analysis. When I asked why we still collected this data vs this other data that actually would be helpful the answer was generally "because".
