Web series are not television shows!

I was wondering why web series like lonelygirl15 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1039793/c...) were listed as "TV series" even though they never appeared on either national broadcast or cable networks. I don't think a series of short videos posted online qualifies as a television show but I don't see a way to change out a "program" is categorized. I know on Wikipedia, web series are identified as such in Filmography and not lumped in with TV shows. How can this be changed?

Indeed, I do think it is a problem. As the format of serialised episodes, is the same as a TV series, they are assigned to that category, which then provides the ability to add episodes, etc. but it then stays in the TV series title type. Web series should be flagged up as such in the keywords (which that isn't, so I added it)

But that currently doesn't change anything, which is why I have suggested that we have a new "web series" (and "web video") title type:

If that is what you are after, then you can +1 the suggestion.

You catagorize Web series as TV series. They are NOT.

They do NOT play on TV. I have wasted a lot of time trying to find Web series on the TV series sites and network sites.

PLEASE, make a Web series catagory.
