I am an everyday visitor of IMDB. I enjoy checking the media news section and use it to keep updated with pop culture. This week however I have a big issue with the IMDB news. Salt Lake City hosted it's first Comic Con this weekend. It turned out to be a record breaking weekend. The largest opening weekend of any con, ever. Every other con gets mentioned, we even get inundated with news from some. Why did IMDB ignore such an important pop culture event and and even more important event for SLC's counter-culture. IMDB has reported only on the negative news coming out of Salt Lake. I'm highly offended this was ignored. I'm also frustrated that I couldn't even send a complaint to anyone at IMDB, I could only post on a chat board. Utah is more than Mormons battling against gay rights, we have a strong culture in the capitol that never gets represented. Thank you for continuing to ignore us IMDB. I'll take everything I read on your site with a grain of salt from now on.

If by chat board you mean this one, staff are present and get this message. Further, the main page has a link for contacting staff in a more private way. https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/people

Lastly, news is not covered by IMDb, but its news partners. IMDb staff creates and maintains a film/tv database. Posted at the bottom of news pages is

You could contact and complain to the actual suppliers of stories but they probably cover what they want to cover.

Just curious though...what was "historical" about it?
