Hi Sombdy -

I was unable to replicate the error, can you try accessing your Watchlist and try exporting it again?

I don't understand how is this marked as solved. It's still not fixed. My watchlist: http://www.imdb.com/user/ur32592984/watchlist

Hi Sombody,

I do get the error message when attempting to export your list.

I recommend reviewing your list to ensure it does not contain a title that has now been removed from the database.

Hello Sombody,

I apologize for my late reply. This error can be caused b y listing a title that is not longer included within our database. Can you confirm this is not the case for your list?

I've checked that all titles in my list have IMDB rating. I assume, missing title won't have rating. So, yes I confirm it.

I'm glad to see that your problem has been "Solved".  LOL.
(IMDb has a bad habit of marking unsolved problems "Solved".)

I would suggest that you try the following experiment:

Copy the Watchlist contents to a new list, and see if the new list can be exported.

If that new list cannot be exported, move 50% of the items to another list, and then try exporting each of those two lists.

If either or both of those exports fail, continue splitting the lists and try exporting each part -- until all items are successfully exported, or until you identify specific title(s) that may have caused the problem.

...

Here is how to copy/move items from a list:

1)  View the source list  (not in editing mode).

2)  Choose the Compact view.

3)  To copy/move from the Watchlist, you must click "Edit list" to access the copy/move controls.  (For other lists, the copy/move controls are visible in the compact view without clicking "Edit list".)

4)  Click the top check-box (the one beside the "Title" heading) to select all items on the page (250 per page).  Check-marks should then appear in the boxes for every title on the page.

5)  "Copy to..." is chosen by default;  or click to choose "Move to..."

6)  Select the destination list or "New list..."

7)  Click the "Go" button.

After reading "I'm glad to see that your problem has been "Solved".  LOL." my first thought was like "WHAAAAAT?!!!" ))
Thanks, I was able to copy all titles to new list and export it.
And that username ;)
I hope IMDB staff is still going to fix my watchlist.

Hello Sombdy,

Thank you for alerting us of this issue. Our technical team has begun investigating this issue. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide a timeline as to when this issue will be resolved. I do recommend continuing to use the new list you've created with Nobody's suggestion.

It's still giving me a 500 error. I have only 1899 titles that I'm trying to export.
I can't even edit it to try the workaround that Trevor posted above because, you guessed it, a 500 error happens every time. I've tried Firefox and Chrome, even my Kindle Fire and nothing works.
