watchlist

There are days that I am only in the mood for romantic comedies and other days where I am only in the mood for action films.

If I am going threw my watchlist I can't put them by the genre of the movie. So I have to go threw every movie that is in my list. The watchlist is getting longer by the years, so this also gets a lot more frustrating.

So an idea would be if you can also order your list in genre. To put this option with the other options you have like date added ore alphabetical.

An other idea would be to be able to put your watchlist- movies in folders you created yourself, where I can put movies together that in my point of view fit together.

Hi Floor Hunnekens Verstegen,

IMDb allows you to filter your watchlist by:
  • Instant Watch Options
  • Genres
  • Movies or TV
  • IMDb Rating
  • In Theaters
  • On TV
  • Release Year
  • You and This List
  • Keywords
At the top of your Watchlist page you should see a "Refine" link. When you click "Refine" you should see a list of filters.

In this example, I've clicked the "Refine" link and selected Genres". If you do the same, you should see the number of titles in your list by genre. You can select one or more genres.

In this example, I've selected Genres". If you do the same, you should see the number of titles in your list by genre. You can select one or more genres. If you select "Musical", you will see the number of films that are also listed in other genre.

If you click the "Refine" link again, the list of filters are hidden. However, any filters you may have chosen are shown.

In this case, I've selected "Musical" and sorted the film in descending order of IMDb Rating.
