My partner does not speak English well so I was helping him to create an IMDBPro account but somehow it linked his Amazon to my IMDBPro so now every time he logs in, it goes to my account. How can I have this removed. It would not let me do this on my own because I have a pro account. We need this done asap but there doesn't seem to be any way to call in for immediate help.

Hello Amber,

IMDb representatives usually reply to Get Satisfaction messages within 24 hours (sometimes less than a day). Please wait for a response.

this does not help me. I already found the page that contains the linked accounts in order to unlink them. However it won't allow me to do so because I have an IMDBPro account linked. It has to be done by a representative.

Hi Amber,

As you mentioned, we are not able to unlink accounts for active IMDbPro memberships - I've issued a prorated refund to your card and cancelled your membership so you can unlink his Amazon from your membership.

If you are having trouble creating his membership or renewing yours, please reach out to our team directly here:

I was not aware canceling my account was the solution. I wish that I had been warned. The card that I used to pay for that subscription was lost in April. Which means the refund would have nothing to be refunded to. I have already called my bank and they have confirmed that because the card no longer exists, and a new one is connected to my account, that I won't receive anything. Is there a way to reapply that credit back to my account?!
