Unauthorized Changes to IMDb Title

My film production company has entered some short films that we've worked on over the past couple years. Now it appears that one of the titles is being "hijacked" by someone else, with actors' credits being removed and replaced by others. The crew appears to be intact, though there were some other adds.

First question, with IMDb validation such as it is, how can this happen?

Second question, how can I prevent this from happening again with this title, if I take the time to correct it?

I guess another, related question might be whether or not there is a way to "lock down" information on IMDb and/or to become the "authoritative" source for that information.

Thank you in advance,
Bryan

Staff may be able to look into it, but you'd at least have to mention the title.

To answer your last question, there is no way for you to have complete control over information for a title. However, once the full credits are listed for a title, the update feature called Cast/Crew Verification can help make additional changes less likely.

Thank you for the reply, Peter. Yes, I should have mentioned the title. It's "The Audition," and it can be found here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2705486/. I guess I was also wondering if I should go to the trouble of re-entering all my information, or if there is any option for the title to be "restored" to a previous point in time.
