If a film is still in production and I have submitted my details and involvement with the film weeks or even months ago, and keep getting "Unable to Verify" message.... is this due to the people making the film dont want to release anything until the films release date?  I have submitted three times and been hit with the "Unable to Verify" message - its a big movie - please advise, thank you,

Have you included any external sites to verify your contributions?
The explanation box does not open by default, although it probably should based on how often we get "unable to verify" rejections. You have to tick a little checkbox by "provide an explanation" for each item being submitted, and then Check your Update to get the box(es) to open.

Hi Steve,

If you have submitted an update and it has not been accepted, it means that our editors were unable to verify it and need further information/additional evidence.

As the title is unreleased, verification should include proof of employment - this can come in the form of a letter of intent, signed contracts mentioning their name or any mentions within the media of the role on the production from reputable third-party sources.

Please upload these screengrabs or data somewhere on the Web where we can access it (we recommend a free image hosting service like imgur.com), these will need to be publicly available and cannot require an account to login. You can then send us the links/URLs pointing to it via the following process:
    1) Find your original submission in your submission history (https://www.imdb.com/updates/history).

    2) Verify that all the data is still valid. If you need to update/amend the information, you can do so and resubmit the entry.

    3) Tick the box which says "Provide an explanation to assist in processing this submission" and click "Check these updates".

    4) In the Explanation field which appears, you can input the URL (note: If this is password protected, please include the password here.)

    5) Submit the form.

Once received, our editors will review the links you have supplied and use them to re-examine your update. If they can verify that the submission is eligible to be included, they will accept it.

Thank you in advance.

Hello Meredith, thanks very much for coming back to me.

I found one of my payment advice slips and a message from the agency confirming my booking to work on the film, along with the confirmed dates.  All worked on, paid & finished.

I uploaded these images (imgur), mostly from my phone screen grabs and posted them as suggested - unless I am reading or doing something wrong, I still get the 'Unable to Verify' and the 'Declined' message from IMDB ?   I have never had this problem from all the other work I have done and cannot understand why I still find it difficult to get me added to the cast as I worked?

The links I gave are still on the 'Re-Check these updates' box - are these still no good for your proof?

Thanks again Meredith,

Steve Barnett
