Hi Cody,

As several contributors are not familiar with the action, let alone iPhone calendars (therefore including me!), could you describe what you are doing, what is expected from it and what is the outcome?

In the IMBD app, home page, movies “Coming Soon” ...select a movie, blue calendar and blue writing saying “coming soon” is right below the movie title, date, rating, categories. When selected the IMBD app crashes. I use to be able to select it in the past and the link would open my phone calendar and the movie would be added per the listed date.

Hi Cody,

I was unable to reproduce this issue using my iOS device.
Please write us back with the following:

- your iOS device model and update version
- your IMDb app version

Thanks in advance!

Hi Cody,

To confirm, are you still seeing the original issue reported with the updated iOS version?

I am still having the original issue. Since I initially reported the problem I’ve tried every combo I can think of from deleting the app, reinstalling to making sure all updates are current. The app was working when I had my previous iPhone 7 and quit work not long before I reported the issue. Since then, I’ve upgraded to the iPhone XS and iOS and IMDB are current versions.

Hi Cody,

We've investigated this further and there is no crash or error coming from the IMDb app, so it's likely that the crash is happening in the system and not in our app.

If that were the case, then the only fix may be to wipe the device and restore iOS.

Some things to try:

- Go to Settings --> Privacy --> Analytics --> Analytics Data and look for ones that start with IMDb. Do the Date/Time inside those match with the occurrence of the issue? If so, please upload this file to Dropbox and send us a link to the file.
- Try other apps that access the calendar. Do they crash when adding something to your calendar?

Thanks in advance!
