TV Series Credit Order & Correction

I added my web series (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11095584/fullcredits?ref_=tt_ql_1) cast credits with order numbers, but their names appear depending on the number of episodes they show up. It seems the order number didn't work.

What happens is, for example, a name of background cast who shows up in 4 episodes appears earlier than a name of main cast who shows up in 3 episodes.

In addition, I could't correct anything about cast name data when I tried to edit the cast page. It says "no existing data" like the attached photo.

Unfortunately, for the series overview, IMDb considers the number of episodes to be the most important factor in deciding the order. This is intentional and can't be changed. The order numbers should have an effect when you look at the individual episode pages though.

The "no existing data" message from the update form is because the data is not attached to the overall series page, it is attached to the individual episodes and you need to update it from those episode pages.

I see!
However, I just checked the 1st episode cast page (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11107918/?ref_=ttep_ep1) and found that the order is still not same as the order numbers I submitted. I could open edit page, but the order numbers were fine. It seems their name appears in alphabetical order. If so, what's the point of putting the order numbers when we submit?

In this case, it's because there's a big gap in the numbering (the cast orders jump from 1 to 4,5,6 to 16,17...), and it confuses the system.

Are there cast members not listed that should have the missing order numbers? If so, adding those in will help the system to make sense of it.

Or, if this is the complete cast, then the order numbers should be consecutive.

Looking at this again, I think what's happened is that you've worked out the order numbers across the entire series, which resulted in missing order numbers in episodes where certain actors/characters do not appear.

For IMDb, the orders should be worked out separately for each episode, so that each individual episode has a sequence of consecutive order numbers, starting from 1.

Thanks for your check and detailed explanation!
Let me try to re-number cast for each episode separately and will see if it works.

Thank you so much!
