I'm trying to identify an old movie. I lived in Maryland from 1972 to 1990 and the time frame for the showing was maybe between 1978 to 1982 but I might have to expand the time frame somewhat. In addition to ABC, CBS and NBC, there were two other stations I could tune into: WBFF 45 in Baltimore and WTTG 5 in Washington D.C. I'm pretty sure this movie would have been shown on 5 or 45.
What I can remember about the movie are two scenes: the first may have taken place on an airship of some kind flying through a mountainous regionand i remember specifically a man getting a hair cut; and this was done by lowering a bowl type device onto his head and when the bowl was lifted up, all the hair was gone except for concentric rings of very short hair. I also remember he wasn't very happy with the result. There were a lot of people on the ship. I want to say it was a B&W movie but I could be wrong about that.
The other scene I remember was people sliding through tunnels possibly made of ice. Both Dirigible and Master of the World are on YouTube so I was able to skim through and look for the scenes in question, but alas, it's not either of these movies. It's possible it's not an even an american made film. I also have to consider the possibility that the two scenes are from different movies.
Thanks in advance,
