trailer in full screen in Android app

Hello

I noticed I can't see trailers in full-screen mode, and this bugs me. I think that's a minimal requirement for displaying trailers, I suggest you fix this this and add this feature to your app.

Also, I couldn't find the settings or a "contact us" button on the app, and this seems like a basic feature that you should implement, or if it is implemented you should make it more visible/accesible to use.

Thanks

Hi Ido,

I can confirm that full-screen mode is available for trailers and videos on the IMDb app for Android. To enter full-screen mode, play the selected video, then rotate your device into the landscape orientation. You may then also need to select the ">" arrow in the upper right corner to close the video info panel.

If you're experiencing further difficulties after following these steps, please write us back with further details and we'd be happy to investigate further.

Thanks!

Hi, I had the same issue, as I'm sure many other users do. The fundamental issue is that both the icon design AND placement. I'd strongly recommend changing the icon design from the misleading 'right arrow' that looks like 'next' to a more commonly used design (e.g. 2/4 arrows facing outwards), and positioning the icon next to the video (when in landscape mode); the current position adds the misleading nature of the 'next' arrow icon currently used.

Hi Peter,

Thank you for the additional feedback.

I've now updated this post to an "Idea", where it can be reviewed by other IMDb staff and users for consideration for future updates.

Please let us know if we can offer any further help.

I also cant view fullscreen, on android note 10. Turning g phone sideways for landscape does nothing whatsoever. No arrow in upper right corner. Pinch and expand, double tap also does nothing. There are arrows facing apart from each other which do look like the thing you'd click to go full screen, but touching those arrows does nothing. What else could I do? Something isn't right here.
