The Websitsite changes are TERRIBLE

The whole idea of IMDB was to create an Internet Movie Data Base. The recently instituted changes to the website have made it far less efficient to find out information about historic films and actors. Now, simple things like finding out the entire cast of a film are complicated by the fact the space for names is too short to read many of them and photographs of the actors are so large that the user has to click multiple on pages to find what is desired. This unnecessary complication -- in favor of more photos (oooooh!), videos (aaaaah) and color (gee whiz, kids!) -- just makes the site what the Texans used to call "all sizzle and no steak." The lame-brained numbskull who devised these changes should be fired. Thanks for turning a helpful resource into a waste of time.

How are you accessing the site? App/desktop.
I use the desktop version on a computer, fullscreen, and don't relate to your description. It sounds like you're looking at a mobile version, perhaps because you have a narrow window open.
Here's what I see:

versus mobile version in half-width screen:

I agree OP. From dropping the discussion forums which were the heart and soul of the site to ditching the polls and turning the main page into an unattractive sight IMDB sure has declined in the past few years. Hopefully they bring back the good stuff and regain what made them special in the first place.
