For cast, according to the Data Processing Times page, they're currently working on submissions from 10 days ago. In general, submissions take 1-14 days to process.

One note, since the film is not out yet and most of cast/crew shown was probably added by production, you might have to wait until release and then prove it with a screen capture of the on screen credits. So, if it does not appear (meaning it's pending evidence to support or is rejected), you might have to go that route.

I am a user and not staff but, no, they probably did not. They don't go out and try to contact third parties to verify. If you have documents from them, you can post them here or send on a verification form, in the form of a link to a pic hosting site or dropbox folder http://www.imdb.com/helpdesk/data_verification

But I wouldn't wait or expect for staff to run down others to get confirmation. The best evidence for this is a screen cap of the on screen credits. Keep in mind that the main purpose of IMDb is documenting on screen credits. So, if it's not included by production, the next thing to do is wait until they exist to be used for verification, like most other people have to do.

If it's been more than two weeks (or at least longer ago than March 28), you can post the submission ID number for your submission and staff can check the status and let you know if something was wrong or if page editors were not likely to have been able to verify the data.
