Hi Mark,

I'm sorry to hear that you experienced this issue with the IMDb Born Today widget in the iOS Today View.

Please try using the "Edit" button at the bottom of the screen to remove and re-add the widget. (Instructions can be found on Apple's Support page here: View and organize Today View on iPhone)

If you're still experiencing the issue, please try restarting your device.

If the issue still persists, please provide us with the following information so that we can investigate further:
  • Device model
  • iOS version number
  • IMDb app version number
Thanks!

I removed and reinstalled the widget. I deleted and reinstalled the app (including the data). I restarted the phone multiple times. This did not fix the widget. This issue dates back to IOS 12.x

Currently I am running

Device model - iPhone SE
iOS version number - 13.1.2 latest
IMDb app version number - 9.14 latest

This is also happening now on iPadOS 13.1 on an iPad Pro 11”. It started with the update to iPadOS 13. I, too, have removed the widget, the app and restarted the device multiple times.

This began for me when I installed iOS 13.  Has never worked since then.  I have also removed the widget and put back, uninstalled the app, restarted the phone.

Thanks for confirming, everyone.

Our technical team is aware of the issue and continuing to investigate. We'll follow up on this thread as soon as we have further information.

In the meantime, the "Born Today" feature can still be found on the home page within the IMDb app for iOS.

Thanks for your continued patience.

Hi, I’ve got the same problem - probably for the last month or so.

Same problem. Ios13/iPhoneSE & iPad mini5.
When’s the fix coming down the pipeline?
Can you confirm as to whether it’s on a proper to-do list; given that your last assurance was 4 months ago?

iPhone 6s. 13.3.1
It’s been happening for quite awhile. I was hoping it’d fix itself. I liked this widget. Random fun info.
Hoping you guys can fix it...
