it is free to watch on a smart tv, but they want to charge me to watch on my iPad?!?....

I watch for free every night on my smart tv, but if I try to watch anything on my iPad (I would hopefully use chromecast to send it to my living room wants me to pay?! Everything I see says FREE TV & MOVIES so where is this coming from? All I can watch for free are trailers.

Even though I pay for Amazon Prime, it still wants to charge me!

Hi Kari,

You can instantly stream IMDb TV titles from your laptop or personal computer's web browser on the IMDb TV page as well as Amazon Fire TV devices via the IMDb TV channel.
While we are always adding new features to the IMDb apps, IMDb TV is not supported on all platforms at the present time.

Visit the IMDb TV FAQsfor more information at

Hi, Kari Edwards. It looks as though you are confusing Amazon Video for IMDb TV. No doubt some Amazon Video ports (like on set-top boxes) include a category for IMDb TV content (free with ads), but the brands are technically not currently interchangeable. It can be confusing, since for example, Amazon/IMDb actually facilitates three ways to watch Fringe, but only two of those ways show up on IMDbApp for iPad.
