Jen,
Would Hollywoodland (2006) and Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) qualify for your poll? They are both set in the Los Angeles area.
Also, your list still links to the IMDb Poll message board instead of this thread.

Jen,
I will tell you about broken links and links that still go to the IMDb Poll message board as I encounter them.
The last two weeks has been akin to drinking from a fire hydrant.

Good call - I've added it (will take a while to actually show up on the poll).

Thank you. My original text in the suggestion now has some spaces missing...?
And can you please put the poll url in the initial suggestion post, like we did on the old board? Thanks!

Strange things happen when I try to edit on my phone. I should stop doing that. I think it looks right now.

Blood & Concrete: A Love Story. This little-seen, underrated gem is a noir goof that showcases the seedy side of late-twentieth-century L.A. better than any movie I know.

As has already been pointed out, Lebowski, Die Hard and Pulp Fiction are all glaring omissions... but my personal fave is also missing: Point Blank (1967), a movie that turns the city of Los Angeles into a film character as well as (if not much better than) similarly selected films like Drive, Collateral and Shampoo!

I feel that Lebowski, Die Hard and Pulp Fiction could easily be set in any big city.
