I'm so glad Netflix has one of these. Starting on January 31st, many theaters in several countries will also start playing these and other shorts (yippee!). I can't wait to see 'Learning to Skateboard...'

One down. Three or four to go.

Watched this at work: In the Absence (2018), 10/10.  Glad my office was temporarily empty while I blubbered a bit.

Watched Life Overtakes Me (2019). Gorgeously shot Swedish landscapes as interstitial scenes for this pretty intimate fairy tale adjacent medical mystery documentary. 8/10.

I saw 'Life Overtakes Me,' as well. It is, indeed, gorgeously shot and both heartbreaking and hopeful: The love these families show their children under such difficult circumstances is sobering and lovely.

I have not seen 'Absence' yet; I'm at two down, three to go.
