I feel your pain sweetheart.

I'm tired of it and I've shown them plenty of proof.
Perhaps they are working on something preventing
them from being added or just don't give a sh*t.

Maybe they're understaffed, who knows.
I'm sure it happens to many.

I give up. Not worth my time.

Good luck to you though.

Since the whole purpose of the site is is to compile and display credits...and they've done so many millions of times over, it's kind of silly to say they "don't give a sh*t," right?

Were those for separate credits or are you re-submitting the same one(s)? Because re-submitting them before they come up on the page slows the process greatly. They have to stop, then look for discrepancies in what's come in, assuming the only reason for it to be re-submitted so quickly is that there was presumably an error in the first one.

Look blues, I'm a paying member IMDBPro member.
I'm simply giving the FIRST COMPLAINT some support
and giving them ideas.
You don't really have to like my opinion and I don't have to like yours.
I was not ASKING for ANYONE's opinion.

Thanks.

IMDb Pro has no relation to displaying credits or not. So that's irrelevant. Credits properly submitted with proof included get displayed. If your "opinion" is that a site compiling credits for more than 15 years doesn't care about displaying yours, of all people, it's ridiculous. Funny you say you can post an opinion but take issue with me posting is pretty ridiculous.

To bluesmanSF - How about you respond to and assist the man who posted the issue in the first place instead of attacking me for a simple reply to his post that you did not like?

You really should be more like Emperor in comment below - A PROFESSIONAL who kept his personal feelings out of it and gave sound advice to the person who posted the issue.
He doesn't offend members, like I've seen you do, time and time again.

When I want your advice regarding MY opinion of how the site handles everything, bluesman - I'll ask for it - but I dont recall, EVER asking you a thing.
Last time I checked, I was an American citizen who has a right to free speech and complain about something I think is valid, regarding the issue.
I was simply giving the man my thoughts and ideas.

Is there some reason you felt compelled to respond to me and NOT the person who originally posted the complaint?

Do not condescend to me calling me 'ridiculous' little man.
Stick to your day job.

My point in saying that I was a paying member is - Why should I pay to have an IMDB resume (that shows on my IMDB page) if they aren't going to update the credits (for that specific resume) for months at a time.
We rely on these credits to coincide with our IMDB resume to help boost our careers.
What do YOU do for a living? Sit here all day and cut people down thinking you ARE something in life?
Spare me.

Again bluesman, thanks for making the members of this forum constantly feel like sh*t when they post an opinion you do not like.

TRY DOING THE JOB YOU ARE HERE TO DO AND ASSIST THE PEOPLE WHO MADE ORIGINAL COMPLAINT INSTEAD OF ATTACKING SOMEONE WHO REPLIED TO THE ISSUE.
Isn't that what your job here is to do? KNOW THE DIFFERENCE or let someone else have the job.

(And I'm quite sure you will have the last word here to make yourself feel bigger - that's fine - I will not lower myself, again, to respond to you and your condescending remarks.)

Hello Veronica. I am not an employee. I am under no more of an obligation than you to solve the OP's problem. In fact, even I a was, I currently have no way of seeing inside those submissions. Note that the OP was told "staff" can check the status of submissions.

Keep in mind that coming here to rant and curse violates the Terms and Conditions of this board and IMDb.

If you are having problems with your submissions, start a thread about it. Posting it here in an unrelated thread can cause confusion. Also, if one gets resolved and the other hasn't yet, the thread might get marked resolved and your situation might get ignored. Cursing and calling names will not usually result in anything but getting your account disabled.

Here are directions for submitting properly. If you do it right, add proof and have aligibility for the credits...they get approved. But it must be done right because staff really does "give a sh!t." http://www.imdb.com/czone/?ref_=hlp_brws

Good luck

It'd depend on if this is one submission or the same one resubmitted a few times. If the latter then you need to wait, if the former then you'll need to give us more information.

Were you credited on this project? Have you sent in evidence to support your submission? Have these been rejected. if so why?

Staff can check the reference numbers that have been given, but it is usually possible to resolve these kinds of problems without their intervention.

So... over to you.

Although it might be an idea to start a separate thread for your problems, as there will probably be different issues to address before we can resolve them both.
