Stop requiring EME for public video playback

The "new homepage experience" and dedicated video player for just about everything in it doesn't work if your browser excludes encrypted media extensions (EME, in-browser DRM) -- which is the case for many FOSS and GNU-based browser projects. Apparently the player hard-requires the use of "mediakeys" even for public clips, trailers and other videos.
Without EME, the scripting on the page fails and videos will not play. If you are lucky one clip might play, and then refuse to play any subsequent one.

This is probably an unintentional bug but makes it impossible to watch any trailers, clips or commentary videos
