Declined correction but this MUST be fixed. Poitier's knighthood is HONORARY only. There has been a misconception to the contrary -- that it is substantive and that he can be called Sir Sidney Poitier, neither of which is the case.

The British Government itself refers to the knighthood as honorary right here: https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C11245449

Elizabeth, I did go to the link you provided earlier for another correction as per your instructions here. I could only find an email option and when I checked my emails I got your message. I could find no way to restate the issue I raised at the other link you provided. Maybe I am doing something wrong.

What is the link to the message system? Thanks.

The contact page (https://help.imdb.com/contact) merely proffers the following:
a) Select which topic you need help with
b) Tell us more about your issue
c) Would you like to contact us?

The Help Center (https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/contribution-information/correcting-existing-data/GPFQGX9...) provides a lot of info but to "correct existing data", the only option given is "Every name and title page has an 'Edit Page' button at the bottom. Simply click this button, then select the data area you wish to correct from the list of options on the next screen."

Because of your high volume of submissions they prefer that you start using this method only and discontinue using get satisfaction.
This is usually because of the fact you have 4 or more submission numbers at once. They are trying to avoid outside comments by contributors that may confuse an issue. Or they may not be able to disclose an answer in a public forum.

OK. But I still do not understand what "using this method only" means. Which method? And what does "discontinue using get satisfaction" mean?

I can take a break and come back in a few weeks and submit fewer (give me a number) if that'll help.

Thanks.

(https://help.imdb.com/contact) Method.
They have asked you over and over to use the above method.
This............https://help.imdb.com/contact

Checking off the proper categories puts you in direct touch with the editor that directly handles the submissions you are making.
It is faster than that way. https://help.imdb.com/contact
