Dear IMDb:

In regards to promoting young & upcoming talent; it would be great if IMDb considered creating a free-viewing short-film section on it's site. Where aspiring filmmakers can submit their work at a nominal fee in exchange for the exposure offered by IMDb.

For cinematic articles that are short enough in running time or have a small enough file size, a studio or creator can make use of IMDb Title Scorecard to accomplish part of that purpose. Regardless of running time or image resolution, there is Amazon Prime Video Direct, but there might not be a way to publish content for viewing at no charge without the Prime subscription. However, the matter of exposure is more of an advertising matter, and furthermore there is no published policy regarding getting the attention/cooperation of the IMDb Editors who sometimes publish IMDb lists of videos that are highly visible on or throughout the site.
