Series listed twice over (one complete listing, one partial)

The series here: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0386950/?ref_=nv_sr_1?ref_=nv_sr_1 is the most complete version (around 184 episodes and around 1'000 cast members).

Oddly a user has started to add the entire series a second time over and somehow this has slipped through the net and been accepted! The less complete version (126 episdoes and with only around 50 cast members) is here: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2091498/?ref_=tt_ov_inf

The second listing of the same series, but with a different name (as this programme has so many different names in different countries (even the individual episodes have different names)) needs to be urgently deleted.
There are at least thirty actors who have credits listed under both series with the identical character names or as themselves!
In the meantime I have deleted some of the data from the less complete version, but this obviously does not resolve the problem as some of the deletion submissions have not been accepted.

Hi Dale.
Both series are a disaster of disjointed and cobbled together continuity mess.
Mayday started in 2003, and has 20 seasons with a renewal for 2020 marking its supposed 20th season.
Yet there were no episodes in 2004! Season 20 should not theoretically happen until 2025!
Would not know where to start to fix that let alone merge the two titles.
Season one (2003) has an episode from 2005 in it.
You would have to correct a lot of it so that it made some chronological sense first.
Can't wait to see what staff says about it.
Cheers

I don't doubt that the first version with more episodes needs a lot of sorting out as well, but I am sure it would be much easier to delete the second version entirely, after all, it only has about 50 cast members, significantly less than the 1'000 on the first version.
Deleting the more incomplete version immediately would mean all future contributions are at least henceforth being added to the correct 'one and the same' series/version.

I have made a lot of additions to the first version and have only submitted deletions for the second version.

Hi there,

Thanks for your post.

I've cut a ticket for our data editors to review this now.

Please allow some time for an update on this case.

Thanks,
