Watched movie on T.V. circa early 70's. I remember a desert setting so I imagine the Southwest or Mexico was depicted. Men in search of a large quantity of specie. Ultimately, money was found by shooting, as best I can remember, cone like objects protruding from the ceiling. These protruding objects contained the hidden coin. I believe architecture was Spanish-Colonial or American Indian. Of course, movie may have been filmed in Europe (e.g., Spain or Italy). Please assist with this partial memory and solve the mystery. I'd love to watch movie again.

Any Gun Can Play is definitely the title I was seeking. W Munny, I thank you for pulling the proverbial rabbit out of the hat thereby restoring a vague memory that has gnawed at me for some time now. I watched the movie late last night and enjoyed it thoroughly. Truly, the only thing remembered was the ending. Many thanks, my dude.

You are welcome. I am glad for having been of assistance. I love westerns, I have been watching them since 1967, started with the spaghetti ones.

Very interesting thing about Any Gun Can Play is that in the first scene where three gunslingers are entering the town, they give a close up on their faces and the three guys are almost identical to Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef in the movie A Fistfull of Dollars 1964 very, very succesfull and the other guy would be Franco Nero in the movie Django 1966, quite successfull as well. These movies catapulted their careers.
