Seeing as the sandy hook shooting didn't occur until the 14th isn't this a bit odd? Also, this is the only credit for most of the crew.

The episode must have been assigned to the wrong date, as this definitely appears to be a description of the ABC evening news episode for 14 December 2012, not 12 December 2012. See http://tvnews.vanderbilt.edu/program.pl?ID=1035457 for confirmation.

I don't know what is the situation with the crew, because as I understand it the crew of the evening news shows are often not credited on screen anyway.

Right, I noticed the crew is never credited on the other episodes, and when I go to the episode of the 14th, in which the same interviews are used they are not credited. If you go backwards or forwards in the episode list this one stands out. The fact that this is the only credit for all but a couple of the crew is just as anamolous as the date mix up. If this was the only mix up in dating for this event it would be easier to dismiss but there are many many more, all with the incorrect date falling before the event. Facebook pages, tweets, news reports etc.
