Loads of things niggle me about the search functions. Easily improved.... pull your fingers out!!

In search refinement why when choosing the 'by ratings' option can we not filter it so it shows anything over a certain number of stars?? The current solution is clunky and frankly lazy. Hard to navigate as it doesn't list numerically (instead by highest number of true responses-ridiculous!!)

The same clumsiness is seen throughout much of the search functionalities. Is it really that difficult to implement a decent search function with more options for refinement. No, it is isn't.

Please improve, I've had to start using rotten tomatoes as their filters are better even if I do trust the ratings less.

It sounds like you might be looking in the wrong place. You can do all of the above and much more on advanced title search @

To get to this chose "Advanced Search" from the menu to the right of the search box on any IMDb page.  The resulting page has a link to advanced title search and many other searches.
