A number of revisions have not been addressed even though it has been a week and they should have been processed by now:

the running time,
the plot summary,
the bio.

Please advise.  Thanks! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2549556/?ref_=nm_knf_t1

Hi Thomas -

The running time has now been updated, see here.

The recent Plot Summary updates you submitted are still pending review.

The Bio, I;'m assuming here that you are referring to the Bio update you submitted for your page here, is that correct?  If so, the Bio has been approved and is now live on your page.  Cheers!

Hi Michelle. Thank you for updating. According to your data stats, the plot summary update that I submitted on the 20th should be processed already or today, correct? Thanks!

Hi Thomas -

Yes, the updates have since been processed and have not been accepted.  They were rejected because we already had an representative  plot outline listed for the title and we only allow one listing per title.

Hi Michelle. So what do I need to do to correct that plot outline because it is no longer accurate.

Hi Thomas,

If the plot outline is incorrect please submit a correction via the 'edit page' button at the bottom of the title page. Please make sure to select 'correct' rather than 'add 1 new' so our data managers are aware the plot has changed and it is not an alternative revision of the original plot.

Hello Rebecca.

Wow...So I go to my title page, and unbelievably, there is a random plot taken from someone else's film, possibly, instead of any plot which I submitted. Can you please correct this awful mistake?

My plot should read: A veteran returns home. He has survived war. Will he survive his homeland?

Hi there,

Please note a plot must describe the story and should not include rhetorical questions.

An example of a good plot is something like:

   http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0944947/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

"Nine noble families fight for control over the mythical lands of Westeros, while a forgotten race returns after being dormant for thousands of years."

If a new plot outline submission does not meet our guidelines or our data editors believe the original to be better then the new submission will be rejected.

Please see the following guide:
   https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/guide/plot#outlines

For more details about our processing times, please see this page:

and volume of items pending processing by data type:

"and should not include rhetorical questions."

Is this included in the guide? I mean plot outline shouldn't include spoilers, so with some films you have to be a bit more creative (so that you won't spoil anything). Then again with some films (let's say films like Eraserhead etc) it's not that easy to add a simple outline.

Why did you not inform me if my submission was rejected??? Seems like basic courtesy to me, as opposed to leaving it up to your stakeholders to discover it.

So now I have to wait for weeks for you to, hopefully, correct the incorrect plot on my film?

Unbelievable.

Second, your processing times are NOT accurate. I've already had to follow up about two changes which you never processed, yet according to your stated processing times, you should have already completed!

I suppose it is easy to be so blase about misinformation on a film if you are not a filmmaker...

IMDb won't "inform" you when certain submission are rejected. If you go to your account, "view your contributions" and to your "Update History", you'll find the ones where you can "Track Contributions". Not all submissions have that, though (at least not yet).

Also processing times can vary a great deal and sometimes a relatively basic trivia or plot outline could take some time. Personally I would wait at least a week before worrying about submissions. Then you can ask more details here if you provide your submission number.
