Review no approved for no reason

I honestly fail to understand why my review for "Sleepaway Camp" (1982) hasn't been approved. I submitted it for the first time in December of 2018 and when it didn't show up on my profile, I thought it was because there was a problem while I tried to submit it (which is unlikely, but possible, I suppose). I submitted the review again, around five days later... again, nothing! I submitted it  for the third time yesterday, after making sure that there wasn't anything inappropriate (language or unannounced spoilers) and it still wasn't approved. I had written reviews before (around 60 or so) and they wouldn't take long to show up (usually, I'd see them within a few hours, after submitting them).

I don't get it, they approve idiotic reviews with two lines, saying stuff, like: "gr8 movie!!! i went to see it with my friends and we enjoyed it a lot! too bad they didnt show more boobs!!!". Now, I try to provide a mildly elaborated review, with a thoughtful input and it gets rejected? That's classy.

Francisco R Hello

The easiest way for the forum to help you is to post the review here

The easiest way for IMDb to help you is to post the 18 digit reference number here also.
Thanks
Cheers

It is overly descriptive. One thing that stood out for me was "Sleepaway Camp" was repeated 6! times. Excessive!

Read these. They were voted most helpful. They are not one or two sentences.

Shorten it up. Avoid scene breakdowns. They take too long to setup and describe.
Cheers

Thanks for your reply again. While I appreciate your advice and critique, I don't quite agree with it, but I do appreciate the fact that you took your time to help me out. I didn't go against the IMDb rules with my review. Yes, it's a long review, but they allowed me to submit it that way and there are no rules against being "overly descriptive" and there are no restrictions concerning how many times you write the title of the film. If my review wasn't approved for the reasons that you pointed out, but they green-light pointless reviews written in two lines, then I guess I'm flattered that they didn't approve mine.

IMDb is a joke now, anyway. I'll be deleting my (overly descriptive) reviews and my account now.

Hi, Francisco R. What has prompted you to delete your reviews and your account? Were you already considering this before you even created this topic?

I also missed the part where the next to last paragraph was inappropriate for a review.
It is a personal opinion on a social issue.

You should be able to locate and check the status of the review via the new experimental tracking system at https://contribute.imdb.com/contributions/history ... does this help?
